About the Doctor

Rosalyn J. Salter, D.M.D.

Dr. Rosalyn J. Salter seeks to create an environment in which she and her staff derive maximum satisfaction from their work, as they create healthy, beautiful smiles to last a lifetime. Her philosophy is to treat her patients like she would want her own children or herself treated.

Dr. Salter is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics. She attended the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Dentistry, where she obtained her Dental Medical Degree in 1988. Then in 1991, Dr. Salter completed a residency in orthodontics at Louisiana State University.

She believes that continuing her education is vital to maintaining her commitment to offering patients the highest quality of orthodontic care. Dr. Salter is associated with the world re-known Kois Center in Seattle, Washington. She attends other continuing education courses throughout the year. This enables her to grow professionally as well as personally. She is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists and the American Dental Association.

Dr. Salter is married to Dr. David “Chris” Salter, a general dentist in Mobile. Having someone in the dental field as a spouse allows her to collaborate with him about complex, multidisciplinary cases and stay abreast of current trends in general dentistry.

She is the proud mother of two smart, athletic, beautiful daughters, Rachael and Carly. She and her family live on a horse farm in West Mobile.
